I Am Human

I know that I am a mess

Disorganized and confusing

But I’m an artist, not a scientist

My life is an array of colors, textures, shapes

Unsolved equations

Unnamed faces and feelings

I am a writer, not a philosopher

My words are opaque

My stories lawless

I am a human, not a robot

I make mistakes

And some are beautiful
